IN BRIEF
Dance Party Massacre is a small clothing line with its roots based in Boston, MA. Drawing inspiration from film, music, pop culture, and nightlife, it's a youth-oriented brand with an independent spirit. DPM is conceptually-driven with the main focus based upon horror elements, and juxtaposing them with a fun edge.
Started in 2007 by designer Alex Dakoulas, the brand has grown from a few t-shirts sold online to a full line being carried in boutiques overseas. Collaborating with event promoters, musical acts, and visual artists Dance Party Massacre continues to expand its efforts while strengthening its core based in playful and rebellious graphic apparel.
MISSION STATEMENT
Dance Party Massacre was formed around the idea that we should do what we want despite what others might think. It's about doing what makes you happy, and believing in yourself, because that's how you'll survive. The people who wear DPM realize that life can be cut too short to live with fear in our hearts. We know something is out to get us, but we won't be brought down. We'll dance until our feet bleed and laugh until our guts hurt, because they can't harm us if we don't let them!
